If you can get fiber optics through vtel do it. Fastest Internet in the world. If you can't DO NOT get vtel the satellite Internet is the slowest Internet available to man so much so that it can barely be used.
Michael went out of his way to get VTel 4G LTE wireless installed at my house in Fletcher, VT for internet. So far, so good. Getting 15-25 Mbps, which did require them to install an antenna, but better than dealing with Fairpoint!
Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. They first sent my husband and I a broken router and then when we mailed it back to them with the postage they provided they claim they never received it. They now want to charge us $500 dollars. My husband has attempted on numerous occassions over the past few days to call and email them and we have recieved no response. On the few occasions we have been able to get in contact with them they told us they would look into it and send us an email but we have never recieved anything. I could not be more disappointed with the lack of respect VTel Wireless has for their customers. I would say to get a verizon unlimited data plan and use your phone as a hot spot. Better internet service and you wont have to deal woth VTel.
Very expensive if you want to call abroad. Worse still, calls from abroad are often mangled if not downright dropprd.
Charged me $25 to cancel hbo at a time when I'm trying to cut spending and save $$. Could go on this isn't the first problem we've had with Vtel.
