Parkings decent, there's the one grocery store and the better pharmacy. The dollar store is there but it's not the "good one". If you like bowling, the alley isn't bad (there's a bar). Peebles is there and they have some good coupons, but no one's paying $12 for a T-shirt around here. Avoid the laundromat, the old couple put dark blue softener directly into the wash; not just my clothes- but every person I mentioned it to- and they refused to offer any compensation for ruining all my clothes. I'm still mad about it

A good, and friendly, place to shop. An out-of-towner may want to pay particular attention to the traffic pattern in the parking lot though.

I think that there is plenty of of space for parking, I think that THE BIGGESTproblem is that we only have 1 grocery store in town and it is expensive to shop there. I and MANY others agree, believe that we need another grocery store in town, such as Hannafords, Market Basket or Price Chopper, so that we're not robbed blind, every time we need to pick up a few things. Our only other option is to go to Claremont to Walmart, which frankly what we do most often, out of necessity or spend a fortune at Shaws in Springfield. It's totally unfair!!!!!

As the main shopping area in Springfield Vermont, I do frequent this area often. I am not impressed with Shaw's, grocery store, prices in general as they are the only game in town so to speak. But if you buy their store brand of items and buy things on sale you can get by. People are generally kind both in Shaw's and all the other stores in the area including the dollar store the laundry should you need to use it and of course I get my haircut there as well. It's also a place where younger people can gather at night although it doesn't seem like it's as much fun as it was back in the seventies when I used to hang out! :-) when I first moved to this town and there was Shaw's and also Price Chopper however unfortunately, Price Chopper left but Rite Aid came and filled the hole. Combined with the dollar store and a pharmacy, this Plaza does have everything you need pretty much.

It was nice to have a clerk help find what you need as I walk in to rite aid.in and out
